Change the monitor size, test field

Hi,

My TestComplete version is 8.60.665.7.

I use this version to record a webpage test in my lap-top computer, after i transfer the recorded project to my Desktop computer, all the test fail.

Fail because: the name mapping top value was changed, so what should we do for better resolve this problem?

    Hi,



    Map objects of your page only by properties with stable values. Any properties related to coordinates are unreliable in most cases.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your information.

    Today I record a new test, using the stable value(such as: ObjectType, ObjectIdentifier) to do the name mapping but it still fail.

    The web page I test it use the dynamic ID.

    Hi,



    If IDs are dynamic, use other properties instead. For example, text stored in the target object.
