Can we make the recorded script run on different pages ?

The web application we are automating is maintained in different systems, so the same applicationed in deployed in different web pages. Is it possible to use the same recorded script ? B...

Hi Tony,



I dont think it will work with wildcards as well. Since the objects are getting identified and recorded as part of a webpage.

And each webpage has unique URL, the unique part is not the dynamic part of the URL it is the actual content of the URL which cannot be turned to a wildcard.



My question here is , how can I make TestComplete record the object independent of the webpage URL.
