Calling PayPal for payment processing in TestComplete keyword test

I have been recording tests on a proprietary software I call up in Chrome. The software processes a credit card payment process fine in TestComplet. When I try to use PayPal as the payment method, the system spins. Does Paypal need to be recognized as a TestedApp in the same way Postman will be recognized?
