Call DLL functions occurs error after update from 8.5 to 8.6

Hello,

after updating Test Complete from 8.5.? to 8.60.665.7 getting the following error:

An exception occurred: 0xC0000005; class: ; description: ''

I am trying to call a function from a DLL which was no problem until the update. Anyone know this error? I found nothing about changes to call a function from a DLL in the Update-News for 8.60.665.7. Maybe reinstall Test Complete could help?

Thanks for your help

Andreas

I've run into this error myself.  I THINK that Support is aware of it and is either working on a patch or has a patch ready.

If they have a patch, I'd LOVE to get a link to it. :-)

    Hi there,

I've exact the same problem by trying a DLL call.

In my case it was a complete new installation of version 8.60.665.7 on a new Windows 7 PC.

Can you tell me please if this patch is included in the 8.7?or can I get the Patch please?

    Best regards, Gerd

    Hi Gerd,

the patch is included in TC 8.7.x. I've updated yesterday and it works fine on my Win7 PC.

    Best Regards
