Binding existing project in TFS to TestComplete
Hi,
I have recently downloaded and installed SCC provider for TFS and can now perform check ins and outs directly through Testcomplete. However, I have project on TFS that were there before I started using SCC provider. My goal now is to associate the existing projects with Testcomplete as well. I tried the following:
I opened an existing project from my TFS workspace on my local machine in Testcomplete. Then I selected the project suite and did File | Source Control | Add Project Suite. I selected my SCC provider from the dialog that came up and clicked OK on the TFS connection dialog as well. Then I was presented with “Choose Folder In TFS Server” dialog. However, the Local Path text box reads "C:\Windows\system32" and the Browse button is grayed out. With all of my new projects this text box reads the directories in which the new projects are created and I can successfully add these projects to TFS through TestComplete, but in this case (Existing projects) I'm confused. Could you please point me in the right direction?
I have the screenshot attached.
I’m using TFS 2010, MSSCCI 2010 and TestComplete v8.2.
Thanks,
Art.
