Android device not detecting

Yesterday I had issues with instrumenting the .ipa file which at the end did not work. I've spent a lot of time on this. 

Today I had been trying to instrument the .apk file and get the device connected but it's not connecting the device. As soon as I say record new script it comes up with the attached image. 

When I did run the adb devices command on the command prompt I was able to see my HTC device on it. 

Once I had the error I tried trouble shooting but that didn't help as well.
