‘Text Recognition’ features not working in Test Complete 11.11.1064.7

    Have you tried testing this with the latest TestComplete version which is 11.2?

I had a similar problem a while back, the solution for me was to use the start /tr_prefer_wmpaint_hooking command line parameter.

 

I created a batch file with the following line to launch TestComplete (same can be done for TestExecute), and then I just opened my project suite and ran it as I normally would:

 

"TestComplete" "C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartBear\TestComplete 11\Bin\TestComplete.exe" /tr_prefer_wmpaint_hooking
