openapi.yaml valid in swagger editor, but won't show fields locally

I'm using jersey 3.0.3, io.swagger.core.v3 v 2.2.9, specifically the jakarta versions.  I have an application that is running. When I navigate chrome to my browser,  I'm able to download the openapi....
