XML and Text files not added to TOC or supported?

I have been using Stoplight for a while and cant seem to find an answer to a TOC question. We have XML files that we want on the TOC. We add a file, rename it sample.xml, and add the content of the XML. All looks fine, but cant add it or reference it anywhere in the documentation. We can see it in TOC or reference the file in the MD files. Where can I find out how to reference generic files in the TOC and documentation? Its got to be support somehow as the “+” menu item has generic directories and files that can be added. Any help on this would be great!

You are able to put the reference in a .xml file however, since Stoplight does not support it, the file will not behave as expected. You are welcome to place a feature request here: https://roadmap.stoplight.io/tabs/7-under-consideration/submit-idea
