Having a problem referencing definitions in separate files

Hey there - I have a master file located at 'reference/Message-Sending-Test.oas.yml' that has the object definitions for many of the details in other files (I understand it's messed up, trying to push through it for documentation purposes).
However, when I try to refer to the definitions in the file, I'm continuously getting errors... any idea what I'm doing wrong?
