Times using groovy script versus without groovy script

Question

Hello, I'm new using SoapUI and i have to make the following test case:

I have to repeat 5 times the same request with 10 different data

I wrote one test case with 50 test step and another with a groovy script (I am sending them as an attachment).
When i run them i have different result in the average time of the test cases... I want to know if something is wrong in my tests cases and Why the groovy script is slower than the other test?
