Test Cases/Steps disappearing when moving up/down

I've run into this issue off and on and am not certain what causes it.  When I am moving test cases up or down in order, or even test steps, they disappear from the GUI.  The test cases themselves still exist and if I open the testsuite runner, you can see it's positioned it in the proper order, but it released the object from the GUI.  Same with the test steps/testcase Runner.

Any assistance or suggestions would be good.  I have noticed an increase in occurence in this as I have had increasingly more "unable to save due to Java heap" type issues.  Not sure why it's chewing up so much memory and unable to allocate more, but the two issues may be tied together.

I've tried to attach some screenshots to illustrate.

    Hi Sean,

    Some questions:

    Are you using an older build or one of the latest nightly builds (available at http://www.eviware.com/nightly-builds)?

    Are you getting any errors in the error log after trying to move the testStep/testCase?

    Have you increased the soapUI memory settings in the bat file?
