Strange Web Service
Hello.
First of all, thanks for anyone's reading.
I was a soapui user in the past, and everything was fine with a well structured soap ws with its corresponding wsdl. As you can imagine at this point, I have to deal with a new web service, designed in REST with no WADL and with a JSON response. The good thing is that It has the same http URL format for each get/post method. Something like:
http://service.xxx.com/<shop>/<lang>/<license>/<action>
As I said, every request and every response are sent (and received) in the same format. My question is : Can I construct a complete test-suite, with request, responses and assertions? Is Soap-ui useful in this situation? I don't know how to parametrice it without a WADL (do i need mock service?).
I guess this is a recurrent topic but I'm completely lost.
Thanks in advance!
