Property transfers in SoapUI and SoapUI Pro

Are the property transfers created using SoapUI pro compatible with the SoapUI environment. I tried running a few of the tests I created using SoapUI Pro in an old dev environment running SoapUI. The tests with property transfer steps all failed with this message: PropertyTransfer failed
