"Permission denied: connect" error in soapUI 4.5

I recently upgraded from 4.0.1 to 4.5.0 beta 2. When trying to run a request in 4.5 I get this message ""Permission denied: connect" error". The same request works on 4.0.1. For background, I've seen the post at http://www.soapui.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13123, but couldn't post this question there.

Anyway, I've checked my Windows firewall settings and both 4.0.1 and 4.5 have the same settings. I turned off the firewall just in case, but I still get the same error.

In the post I referenced above, the author was stuck at the same place I was, but there was no response indicating what else might be causing the problem.

I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit, with Java 1.6.0.27.
