GC?
I went ahead and tried a different soap message with about the same number of assertions but no script assertions. When I did ctrl+alt+delete and looked in the Windows Task Manager when running an individual SOAP message with 8 regex contains assertions, the CPU Usage rocketed up from 17% to 52% and stayed there steadily until it finished about 3 minutes later. I deleted 4 of the regex assertions, however, and ran the same SOAP message and the CPU usage only went up to 32% and the assertions were resolved IN ABOUT 4 DANG SECONDS. How can 4 extra assertions cause a 4500% extra time?
I mean, at this point I know that somehow the soapUI is getting garbled when it has to deal with more than a few regex assertions, probably because it tries to resolve them all AT THE SAME TIME. Is there any way to get them to resolve individually, some kind of thread manager or something?
