Multiple regex Contains assertions causing inexplicable slowdown

Ugh, tests that used to run quickly are now giving me the same obscene slowdown.  This has become a major blocker for me.  Is it just my computer, or is there some kind of soapUI configuration thing that I could tweak?  I've tried re-installing without any discernible effect.
