Mass Test Case Import?

Hello everyone,

I'm somewhat new to soapUI, so forgive me if this is a foolish question. Is there a way to mass import test cases? I have a very large number of test case xml files that I need to import into my project, and it would be extremely time consuming to do it manually. Can I do this in a batch file, or perhaps in Java? I should also note that I don't yet have the Pro version, would it be necessary?
