Kerberos Authentication

Hi all,

We are using SOAPUI Pro 3.0 to test WCF SOAP Services. The IIS Server is configured for Integrated Authentication only, so we can use Kerberos authentication and impersonate the calling user when connecting to various resources such as databases, etc. The problem is that SOAP UI does not seem to pass a Kerberos token. As a result the IIS Server drops back to NTLM and honours the request right up to where we call into the database and then fails.

Question: Has anyone successfully configured SOAP UI to send Kerberos information?
  • Bump.

Is connecting to a Kerberos protected SOAP service just not possible with SoapUI?

If not, are there any plans to add such support?

Kerberos is currently not supported unfortunately, but it definitely will be in a version or two..

    Sorry for the inconvenience

  • Do you have any idea in the mean time when the Kerberos authentication will be added to the product?
In which version and/or at which date?

  • Hi,

Has the Kerberos feature been included. If not, any tentative schedule to include the same.

    Thanks a lot.

    Best Regards - Roy
  • Bump...

Really love soapUI, which is kind of sad I suppose! Would be really interested to know when Kerberos support is going to be included in the product? Any ideas?

    Many thanks,

    Paul
