java.io.FileNotFoundException when soapui-settings.xml hidden (Access Denied)

Windows 10, SoapUI 5.4

While I found no workable way to redefine its location, I set soapui-settings.xml to hidden in Windows Explorer, because I don't want my user home / profile directory cluttered like this.

Apparently, doing so has SoapUI throw a java.io.FileNotFoundException now, see screenshot.

Would be great if this can be fixed, esp. since I cannot even move the config.
