Input validation failure to be reported to host application

The SOAP library is validating the values of a SOAP request against the WSDL and XSD files. If the validation fails, the library generates a SOAP fault message and responds to the requester. Please guide me in getting this  input validation failures information to my application as well because my application has to take decision based on input validation.
