HTTP testing (no web services)

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone was using SOAPUI to test applications other than web services, such as traditional websites (ie plain http load testing).  I noticed that there was an HTTP Test Step.

Is it a reasonable choice for this type of testing or are there better tools out there?

    Hi,

    for plain web-testing it is definitely possible, but there are other tools that might do this better (selenium, etc). The main advantage of doing it in soapUI is that you can integrate it with all the other types of testing possible.

    Stay tuned though, web testing will be improved in future releases.
