I need to test a .svc web service, but i can't figure out a way to get in the WS through soapui.

It helped me a lot.
SVC is usually a suffix of SOAP web services running on Windows.
These services are typically based on WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) framework.
You can treat these services as any other SOAP services.
