Error getting response; java.lang.IllegalArgumentException

I am using soupui to test a soap request to a backend server front by a load balancer. The load balancer redirect any traffic from port 80 to port 443. So I set the follow redirect to true on the request, but I get the following error message

If I go straight from 443 then the test run just fine.
