Corrupted UTF-8 content when reloading a source file in a Properties step

Please find attached the property source file containing the property name message. The character is at line 3, column 35.

The encoding of the properties file is different to expected ANSI.

 

As a workaround I opened the file in Windows Notepad then from File menu Save As a different file name and change Encoding from UTF-8 to ANSI. Then reloading properties seems to be OK.

    Thank you for your answer.

    I already made this diagnostic. But if it works with a UTF-8 encoded file when I load the file manually, why doesn't it work when reloading ?

      I couldn't see any difference between load/reload properties.

      Could it be a second copy of the same file with hidden txt file extension? Notepad automatically added the txt extension so I saved as a different filename to make sure it was the right one.
