Hi all,I am very new to SOAP-UI. Response is returning 2 statuses. I want the test step to consider <ns3:Status> and consider it a failure. However it is considering <ns2:Status> and showing it as a success. From the post what I understand is that, there is an error in the response if attention is paid to the content inside <payload>.The top status could be different whic is showing that the request is processed. But, it does not mean the it is successful when request is actually processd by some underline component or so.

An xpath assertion can be used for this.Once you run the request, you will receive the response.Add xpath assertion, click on declare button.You would get namespace definitions.Add below line :contains(//ns3:GMRCreationResponse/ns3:Status,'ERROR')In the expected result, provide value false.And post your result.

Hi Rao ... Thank you for your response. I am not able to find the assertion toolbar. I am not using the PRO version and just using the basic version. Could you please let me know if this can be done on the basic version or not?
