Why does the startup take so long?

What is loadUI always downloading from the Internet each time it starts? Can't one teach it to collect and save all its parts locally so that one can also start it "offline"? With "offline" I mean...

For the upcoming version of loadUI, we're migrating to JavaFX 2, which is faster and also means that we don't need WebStart (which is the cause of several startup problems as well). The current build starts up in 7 seconds.
