Why do I get a "Loading Definition" pop up message when I try to add/modify new http requests ?

Hi, I m trying to add new http requests to my project and I get a "Loading Definition" popup. There is nothing I can do in SOAP UI while this pop up is displayed. I read on other topics that is somet...

The thing is the message seems to never disappear (unless I stop the server process from IIS).

Are the definition files being accessed via file path or URL?

    URL. For example it also happens when I try to add an assertion to one of my requests. For now I stopped the local server in order to make changes then I start it when I want to run the suite
