using "Data..." teststeps in soapUI

Hi,

we are using both soapUI and soapUI Pro.
When using soapUI I found it strange, that the Data...-teststeps (DataSource, DataSink, ...) are colored in grey but can be selected anyway. Also an "add step" dialog appears were you can insert a step name. But finaly (of course) no step will be added to the testcase.
Also no error message or hint is given to the user, that the feature is not available in soapUI (you can just know it from the tooltip text)

So why are these buttons enabled and why does an "add step" dialog appear here?

    Hi,

    I am unable to pull the data from datasource, even though valid reference is provided.
    In Data source i have set the source as Excel and when i run the data source i see the values in section below.

    But when i execute the test case, error displays as - 'Loan Information is a required field'.

    Can anyone help on this please?
