String search in response buffer finds first instance only

Soapui pro 2.5 on osx 10.5.6.

I'd like to find all instances of a specific string in a soapui response
buffer. I can find the first. Successive finds of the same string after that
do *not* find the other instances. This is reproducible on a second
soapui client (same profile, different machine).

Please advise. Currently I'm manually inspecting the response buffer
element by element. I don't want to automate this (yet), I want to just
inspect the results first.

This question is cross posted in the community forum. I didn't realize
we needed special credentials to "see" the pro support forum.
