Hi Vincent,
Did you get some replies for your questions?
I too want to know the difference & attempt certification. I mailed customer support but they couldn't share any specific syllabus or content related to exam scope.
Still waiting to hearing concrete from them.
Please share if you found some thing helpful. Thanks!!

Ajay

Hi,
I'm also thinking of getting the certification maybe around May or June. I've already inquired with their Customer Service. Anyway, give them a few days to reply. Several countries had holidays last week and up to today. Here's what I've gathered so far.
- The exam payment is valid for only one take or attempt.
- This is not like other certification exams which you have to retake every few years to keep your certification. It's only one time per product.
- When you say per product, if you pass SoapUI NG Pro, this does not automatically make you certified for SoapUI Open Source or LoadUI NG. These are different products even if you can see them all as 1 tab each under Ready!API interface.
- For the exam syllabus, I haven't seen the exact coverage but you can check the on-demand training syllabus here so I guess, the certification exam should be almost the same as this one's coverage. I've seen a thread though wherein someone replied that when he took the exam, there are about 5 questions that were not discussed on the training.
...I suppose SoapUI NG Pro exam is different from SoapUI Open Source since there are some functionalities available at SoapUI NG Pro which are not available on SoapUI Open Source like environment selection. Here's a comparison.
For references, you can attend or sign up for their monthly webinars (It's free! I took some myself and got an electronic certificate for the attendance) for the product you are interested in or check their resources for tutorial videos. Goodluck!

Thanks Debz for the information.
I am planning to take this up around June for SoapUI NG Pro. Will start with the tutorial syllabus for now :)
I have already attended the 101, 201 and 202 webinars :)
All the best for your attempt and do let me know if you get any reply from customer support for the exact syllabus or coverage.

Ajay
