Soap UI Pro - 5.1.2 issues

Hi I have soap UI pro 4.6.4 license which I use on Mac book.
I just downloaded pro 5.1.2 version.

Now when I try to import my existing project by going to 'professional' folder the 'choose' button is not enabled.
But I can select the open source .xml file and import my project.

Ideally i should be able to import my project with professional folder selection as my changes will be saved under professional folder.

Please advise as to why i am not able to sleect profesional folder whilr importing my project with 5.1.2 version.

    Hi,

    Please clarify the "Professional folder" you are referring to. Posting a screen shot will help clarify the matter, I do not know why you would only be able to import a project using the Open Source version and not the pro version. Also, please say what version of Mac OS you are using.

    I can select professional folder but project is not getting imported.

    Hi,

    The issue seems like something specific to that folder. Can you look at the attributes of the folder? Maybe there is some restrictions on it such as read permissions. Are you able to import a project from that folder with a previous version of SoapUI Pro?

    Yes, I am able to import project with previous version soap UI 4.6.4 Pro.
    It gives problem when I import same project with latest version soap ui Pro 5.1.2

    Also,

    I do not see xml response for the request in 5.1.2 pro version it shows only json response.
    But I was able to see xml response for requests in 4.6.4 pro version.

    Hi,

    If you are getting a JSON Response then you can use JSON assertions or build property expansions based on JSON. You can still add XPath Math assertions based on an XML rendering of your original JSON response, but it won't be displayed on the XML tab.

    And for the project that you could not open, is it a composite project?

    Also, please start a different thread for new issues.
