Send a custom message from an event to junit report?

We need to send request and response from all the failed tests in a project to the junit report. For this, we want to implement an event after each REST test step to validate the status and on error ...

    Yes. I was able to figure this out. Using the option in Preferences -- ReadyAPI -- Log Complete Messages on Errors is solving our requirement.

what is your use case?

The tool saves the request and response for the failed cases any way. Why do you want the report to have request and response? which may become huge?
