Running testcase in Groovy and show execution in UI
Is there anyway to run a testcase in groovy via testcase.run() , and have it show in the UI like I ran it from the UI? There's got to be a way to do this.

Well, the API is it's not really designed for this, but it still might be possible.
Have a look at the runTestCase() method on the WsdlTestCaseDesktopPanel: http://www.soapui.org/apidocs/com/eviwa ... nTestCase()
This is the method called by the run button on a TestCase.
