[Resolved] how to i error root cause if soapUI doesn't start

I deployed a custom test step as a jar and because of an error in the jar soapUI was unable to start. All i would get is the splash screen and then the process would be gone.

I want to know in a situation like this is there a log or something similar that we can check to identify why the application isn't booting up?
