[Resolved] DataSource as input to JDBC

Hi there.

Hope you can help?

My scenario:

I have a datasource (DS) configured to read in values from a previous test steps xml response.
The response can return 0 to > 10000 values.

What I would like to do is to use the DS values as input parameters to a JDBC request for database content verification.

Can I do this and if so what do I need to get it going please?

    Hi,

    From the DataSource view, click the "+" above "Properties" to create custom properties for the data you need in your JDBC request. Then, you can simply access it wherever you want by right clicking and using the "Get Data" feature. Check this tutorial out on soapui.org:

    You can disregard some of it that's not relevant to you, but this covers how DataSources, among other things, are used.
