Request URL in lowercase (variable)

Question

Hellow! My team using soapui pro.
And since version 5.1 it's not possible to use Request URL(end point) as variable like http://${#Project#server_port}/ Because in version 5.1 Request URL forcibly converted to lowercase like http://${#project#server_port}/ and it leads ERROR:java.net.UnknownHostException: null

Is this a bug or a feature and whether there is a workaround?
