[Registered] Clone TestSuite doesn't work

For example

You have a workspace with two projects
You clone a TestSuite in the first project (thats works fine)
then you go to your second project and Clone a TestSuite over there.

then you get a message with the text "Target project [***] is missing required interfaces;

It looks like that you are not Cloning the TestSuite of your second project but the TestSuite that you cloned before

I Use SoapUI Pro 5.1.2

    Hi,

    Are the needed interfaces in the project you are cloning the test suite to? You can clone SOAP interfaces by right clicking on the interface and selecting "Clone interface".

    Hi,

    I saw the video, how did the BTO testsuite in UWVDossierWerknemersverzekeringenGemBdl-V0100-b01 project get created? It was not cloned in there, but was created from "scratch", correct? If that is the case I think it may be that there is some issue with the testsuites having the same name in different projects being cloned even though I have never seen this issue before.

    Yes, All projects are created from "scratch".
    I tested also with 2 different project with different Testsuite names, and there i got the same message when cloning.

    If you want, i can send you the workspace and the two projects (including WSDL)

    More information.

    If i clone a TestSuite and then open an other workspace and clone another TestSuite then i got the same message as above.
    Even if i use another name

    Hi,

    Thanks for sending your project. We have an internal defect of SOAP-2882 which is very similar to what you have reported. As a workaround, export the testsuite you would like to clone to a file by right clicking on the testsuite -> select ‘Export’ -> Save TestSuite in external file. Then right click on the project you would like to import the testsuite to -> Select ‘Import TestSuite’ -> choose saved file.
