ReadyAPI 2.8.2 can't find hermes-config.xml

I get the error below when I try to set JMS Destination in ReadyAPI 2.8.2:
The Hermes config file was not found. Check the specified path. (Path is C:\.hermes). On Clicking OK on the dialog box a second error "Not supported Endpoint" is displayed.

ReadyAPI 2.8.2 has no issue starting HermesJMS from the same location (C:\.hermes) via Projects > Start HermesJMS or via Tools > HermesJMS. It just can't find hermes-config.xml when I want to execute a request. Strangely, SoapUI (Open Source) can see the hermes-config.xml file and can execute a request. Any advise to resolve this is appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.
