python support

Question

I are using soapUI as a test harness to do a lot of low level software testing. Python seems to be the language of choice for our low level testing team. Has soapUI considered adding support to a 'python teststep' ? Is this something we can make our selves using the this guide ?

actually, upon further research, it seems like maybe supporting Jython would make a lot more sense. Does soapUI have any plans for supporting Jython and having a Jython teststep or maybe just have a 'scripting test step' and the user can pick Jython or Groovy?

As far as I know, there are no plans of this.
