Property Transfer Text editor

Hello,

I have been thinking in a text editor for property transfer as they would be much easier to manage when there are a few properties within.

Is there any plugin or something to help with this?

If not, i think this would be an interesting feature for new versions, something like having a tab in the bottom of the property transfer window to change from text view to window view of the property transfer.

Imagine something like.

TestStep1 (Properties), TestStep2 (Property Transfer) and TestStep3 (Request)

Text view of property transfer "TestStep2" could be something like this.

transfer_name:source_name(source_propertyName, source_Xpath):target_name(target_propertyName, target_Xpath):

transfer1:TestStep1(prop1):TestStep3(reqProp1)
transfer2:TestStep1(prop2):TestStep3(reqProp2)
...
transferN:TestStep1(propN):TestStep3(reqPropN)


Having this, then you can copy, edit and modify faster than how we currenty do.
What do you think?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer mrJames but i think this is not what i'm looking for.

    I'm talking about editing a Property transfer test step because it is much slower of editing, but it could also apply to properties test step and probably others types.

    It's just other tab or somethig like "Open with text editor" to have same information in text format. Easier and faster to edit and manage, without needs of importing and exporting
