problem with license

I need LoadUI Pro trial version to run on a virtual machine (VMware). I downloaded the installer from my main system and stored it on my VM. On my main system I downloaded the license I received through email and stored that on the VM too. On installation on my VM I'm having license expired error and I just downloaded everything today. What can I do to fix this?

PS: I need LoadUI Pro for a thesis I'm working on, which is based on performance testing of an enterprise application hosted on a server. I'm calling functions from a Client VM(on a local network) to the server through SoapUI and LoadUI generation. Now I need to monitor the server's performance thus I'm guessing I need LoadUI Pro for Server Monitoring.

I hope I'm doing everything the right way. When I start LoadUI Pro A window License Is Missing appears. I select "I have a valid license file" radio button click Next and then specify it's location (on my desktop). When I click OK, a License is Expired is displayed. Below is a screenshot of this message into my virtual machine:

I did not uninstall LoadUI (don't wish to), does this effect license?

The problem was with Windows Vista. There is a problem when trying to license LoadUI Pro on Vista. Changed to Windows 7 and had no problems. Thanks for Temil for his great support.
