Hi

We have reproduced the error with Excel DataSink and DataSoruce. Your suggested workaround fixes the problem. Thanks for finding the problem and the workaround!
For now I have posted the workaround at http://www.soapui.org/Test-Automation/maven-2x.html until we fix the problem.
