Possible to run two version on same computer?

I have a working setup with 3.6.1, pro license.
would like to try out version 4 but don't want to disturb my 3.6.1 setup until I'm certain 4.0 will work for me.

Is it possible to set up 4.0 independently from my 3.6.1 ?

If not, what do I need to back up to protect my existing setup?

    Yes, you just need install new version on different location. It will use same settings, workspace and projects as old one. Or you can create new workspace to play just in new version.
