Performance problem

Hi

I am executing a simple SoapUI test case from LoadUI agents. I can go as high as 350 TPS with approximate 10% CPU utilization on the agents. When I go above 350 TPS, then the CPU utilization jumps to 100% and the request rate becomes unstable. I can add agents each running 350 TPS without any issues. It does not make any difference if I add/remove resources to the webservice.

Is there some upper limit in the number of requests one agent can make, and why does it go from 10% utilization to 100%. It sounds to me like a bug/limitation in the agent. I am using the latest daily build.

Best regards.

  • Hi!

There shouldn't be any restrictions when it comes to request rate. We have been testing loadUI with far higher rates per agent.

It sounds to me that it's something in the soapUI code that's slowing things down. Could you please either post your project to support at eviware (link to this topic) or, if that's not possible, describe it in detail here.

Just to check... What if you run in local mode? Is the behaviour the same then?

    Have a nice weekend!
