OSX beachball of death

I'm experiencing the beachball of death issue, both with SoapUI 4.0.1 Pro and 4.5.0 Pro. There are several WSDLs with test suites in my project. Those are the steps to reproduce on my machine:

1. Use the Navigator to open a Test Case
2. Start the Test Case
3. Open a Message Viewer in the TestCase Log (it opens and displays, but SoapUI quickly turns into a frozen window with the beachball appearing)

Is there any logfile I could attach?

OSX Lion 10.7.3

$ java -version
java version "1.6.0_31"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_31-b04-415-11M3646)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.6-b01-415, mixed mode)

    Hello,

    Can you look in directory where soapUI is installed and look for logs in /bin folder ( ${soapui.home}/bin ).

      Update... OSX Beachball of Death problem still exists on new installs.

       

      Adding for clarity (since it appears this problem started about a decade ago) this post is from August, 2017.
