No selection of Template as a Parameter Type in SoapUI 2.5

SmartBear provided the RIA#'s:

RIA-9147 - Getdata/property expansion doesn't work in Projects tab(parameters).

RIA-9142 - Not able to select 'Template' as the parameter type.

They changed how you get selecting template as a parameter type for resources. To get Template to come up as a selection, you have to click the ‘new’ ‘Advanced Options’ below the request and Select ‘Resource’. You’ll have to be on the Parameter you are creating to get this to work. No idea why they thought they needed to do that, but ok.

 

As far as being able to navigate to select values, this is a true bug and is their backlog. I have no idea when they will resolve it however. Thank you Richie for looking into this with me :-)
