Multiline text in Properties

Hi -

I realize that Properties cannot have CR/LF values, but I want to have multi-line boilerplate text in Properties that I can load from a file.

Is there a workaround you can suggest?

    Hello,

    As you said there isn't really support for multiline content in Properties. Could you please elaborate a bit on what you are trying to do? It'll help us find a workaround, if there is one.

    I have sets of text that I need to write to a DB in an exact (80 column) format which change based on the test case. Rather than having to embed a different set of DataGen templates everywhere I wanted to be able to read the text from a file chosen at execution time.

    I will probably use a Groovy script to read a file with custom delimiters, but it won't be as easy as just loading a Properties step.
