Making REST/QUERY API requestes to EC2 (Amazon WS)

Hi

I want to perform the Get Request from a REST project (SOAP UI) to describe the status of my VM in AWS using REST API.
As per my view the main challenge there - how to generate a HMAC-based signature in every Query request while sending the GET request out.

Is it feasible (and if yes - how) to execute REST/QUERY API requests with SOAPUI without using any other supplement tool ?

P.S. SOAP messages' exchange works fine between SOAPUI and AWS, the question is about the usage of REST/Query API only.
