Loosing projects in default workspace

I have a problem with version 4.6 (both 4.6.1 and 4.6.2). I start the second soapui program on windows 7 when I already have one running. I close the second one. When I try to close the first one, it starts asking me about projects being modified externally. I click cancel on those dialog boxes. After that I end up with no projects in my default workspace. I checked the default-soapui-workspace.xml in my home directory and it doesn't contain any projects. When I start soapui, I'm left with the empty default workspace. This is quite annoying. In the previous versions the first soapui program asked the same questions regarding projects being modified externally, but it didn't loose any projects in default workspace if I clicked cancel. Now when I (accidentlly) start the second soapui program, I rush to make a backup of default-soapui-workspace.xml so that I don't end up with empty workspace.

  • Hi,

I reproduced this issue and logged a bug against it (SOAP-1234). This will get addressed by the product owner for prioritization in the future releases.
